Despite being told numerous times that there is 'no chance' of a Fleetwood Mac reunion, fans are speculating that the band are getting back together.

Following the death of Christine McVie in 2022, Stevie Nicks has said that Fleetwood Mac would not continue on. "Without Christine, no can do," she said, adding, "There is no chance of putting Fleetwood Mac back together in any way. Without her, it just couldn’t work."

Mick Fleetwood echoed this sentiment early last year, saying:"I think right now, I truly think the line in the sand has been drawn with the loss of Chris."

Despite all this, fans believe that there may be some sort of Fleetwood Mac reunion on the cards.

The rumours have been sparked by a seemingly relaunched Instagram account for the band, which has been followed by both Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood.

Fan screenshots posted on TikTok claim to show the account also following Lindsey Buckingham, however, this isn't true.

The new Fleetwood Mac account is set to private and doesn't seem to be accepting new followers. It follows four accounts and has just nine following it in return.

A new Fleetwood Mac TikTok account has also been launched which, like the Instagram profile, has an official badge.

However, despite many, many excited posts from fans, there's no firm indication of a live or recorded return. The band could well be preparing a reissue of past work, or even just tidying up their social media profiles.

Fleetwood Mac's X (formally Twitter) account is up and active — however, as noted by the fan who shared the band's new social media accounts on TikTok, their official website is down, aside from their merch store.
