It's been 30 years since the Spice Girls auditioned to be a part of what went on to become one of the biggest girl groups in history!

They've taken to social media to celebrate the milestone sharing a sweet throwback video of them rehearsing in their early days.

The video shows all five members dancing about as their debut hit Wannabe plays in the background.

Captioning the video, "Today marks the 30th anniversary of the very first Spice Girls auditions! 🎉 What started back in 1994 has turned into an amazing journey, way beyond anything we could have ever imagined. Thank you to our fans for your support from day one 💖 #FriendshipNeverEnds"

Fans can't get enough of this new footage, with one simply commenting, "Iconic" and another saying: "The good times!!! 😏👍🔥🔥🔥".

A third fan commented, "Spice Girls Forever!! 🥳🥰"

The Spice Girls were formed in 1994 when Emma Bunton, Victoria Adams (née Beckham), Geri Horner (née Halliwell), Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm responded to an ad in The Stage magazine, for a new girl band.

They went on to have three Top 2 albums in the UK and nine Number 1 singles, including three consecutive Christmas Number 1s, beating a record previously held by The Beatles.
